Terms and conditions Privacy policy Cookie policy

1. Website operator and contact

The website alphaleaders.ro is administered by Asociația Alpha Leadership, a Romanian nonprofit association, tax identification number 35543352, registered in the Register of Associations and Foundations under no. 134/24.11.2015. References to the Association in this document mean this legal entity.

For questions about the website or these terms, email roxana.szekely@alphaleaders.ro or use the contact page .

2. Scope and use of the website

These terms explain the conditions for using the public website and its application and member-account features. Please read them before using a form or creating an account. Where a form asks you to accept the terms, that acceptance applies to the request you submit.

Reading public pages does not make you a member, enrol you in a programme or require a donation. Accepting these terms does not constitute consent to advertising or to every use of personal data; those matters are explained separately in the privacy policy.

3. Information, programmes and events

The website presents the Association’s mission, activities, educational resources, partners and ways to get involved. General information about a programme, scholarship or event does not by itself reserve a place or guarantee admission, availability or a particular personal or professional result.

The Association’s role in an activity is the role stated on its page. Mentioning a partner event does not mean the Association is its organiser. Participation arrangements, dates and any specific conditions communicated by the responsible organiser must be considered separately.

4. Permitted use

Use the website lawfully and provide accurate information when contacting us or applying. If information relevant to your request changes, let us know through the contact channels above.

  • Do not impersonate another person or submit an application on their behalf without authority.
  • Do not send unlawful, threatening, abusive or fraudulent material, malicious code or unsolicited bulk messages.
  • Do not attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems or personal data, bypass security controls or disrupt the service.
  • Respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property; do not collect or reuse website content in a way that infringes their rights.

5. Programme applications and eligibility

The leadership application form is intended for applicants aged 30 or under seeking free participation in an eligible programme or event. Each application is reviewed individually based on eligibility, suitability and available places; partner events also require confirmation from their organiser.

Sending the form is a request for consideration, not an acceptance, reservation or guarantee of participation. The Association may contact the applicant or their legal representative to clarify the information needed for evaluation. Participation is subject to express confirmation and any specific conditions communicated for the activity.

6. Applicants under 18

An application concerning a person under 18 requires the parent’s or legal representative’s name, email address and confirmation. The form uses that person’s email address for correspondence concerning the application.

The person completing the form must be entitled to provide the information and the representative’s confirmation. Any further authorisation required for actual participation will be addressed separately before the activity. A submitted form alone does not replace the participation arrangements required for a minor.

7. Membership applications

Creating an account, verifying an email address and submitting a membership application are separate from being admitted as a member. Email verification enables access to the account and allows the application to progress to review; it is not a decision on membership.

Membership applications are reviewed by people. Membership is obtained only after the Association communicates its express acceptance, under the rules applicable to the Association. Account access or an application marked as pending does not confer membership rights.

8. Account access and personal email links

Member accounts use email verification and sign-in links instead of passwords. Each link is personal, can be used only once and expires after 15 minutes. A signed-in session lasts no more than 30 days and may end earlier through sign-out or revocation.

Keep access to your email secure, do not forward sign-in links and sign out on shared devices. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact the Association promptly. We do not ask you to disclose your email password or a sign-in link in an ordinary contact message.

9. Donations and support

The support page provides the Association’s bank details for voluntary donations made through the donor’s own bank. The website does not collect payment-card details or process a bank transfer on your behalf. Your bank’s applicable conditions govern its payment service.

A donation does not by itself purchase a programme place, guarantee selection or confer membership. For a transfer error or a question about a contribution, contact the Association with the information needed to identify it; do not send full card details or banking credentials.

10. Intellectual property

Website texts, photographs, graphics, educational materials and visual identity may be protected by copyright or other rights. Materials published by the Association and materials belonging to partners or other third parties remain subject to the rights of their respective holders.

You may read and use public resources for their stated purpose and make uses permitted by law. Attribute quotations accurately and preserve their meaning. Reproduction, redistribution or commercial use beyond a legal permission or a licence requires the relevant rights holder’s agreement.

11. External resources and communications

External links may lead to partner websites, official forms or other resources managed by third parties. Their operators determine their own content, availability, terms and data-processing practices. Read the relevant information before providing data or committing to participation on another platform.

Submitting a message or receiving an automated email confirms a communication step only. It does not guarantee a response at a particular time, programme admission or membership. Verification and sign-in emails are transactional communications needed to use the account feature.

12. Availability and liability

We take reasonable steps to keep the website and its information useful and accurate. Maintenance, network issues or other incidents can interrupt access, and information may require correction. If a published detail is essential to your application or participation, request clarification before relying on it.

Responsibility for loss is determined under applicable law and the circumstances of the case. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, remove mandatory rights or guarantee that using the website will produce a specific educational or professional outcome.

13. Personal data

The Privacy policy explains the data used for correspondence, programme applications, member accounts and website operation, together with the rights available to you. The Cookie policy describes the website’s storage technologies.

14. Updates, applicable law and disputes

The date above identifies the current version of these terms. Updates may reflect changes to the website, activities or legal requirements. A later version does not retrospectively change the version recorded for an earlier membership application.

Romanian law applies. You may contact the Association to seek an amicable resolution of a disagreement, without losing the right to use the courts or other remedies available under applicable law. Competence is determined by law.

Legal reference: Romanian Law no. 365/2002 , where its provisions apply to the relevant service.

15. Paid Speaker Elite registration

Speaker Elite is a paid programme of the Association, separate from scholarship applications. The Silver package has a total price of EUR 500, payable in one full payment through Stripe Checkout when online payment is available. The package, total amount, currency and applicable conditions are shown before payment. For Gold and VIP, and when online payment for Silver is unavailable, the form sends a request; the team communicates the price and conditions before any commitment. Acknowledging a request does not confirm payment or guarantee a place. Payment confirmation is sent only after payment has been verified. The team provides participation and programme access details.
