1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website may store on your device. They can support the technical operation of a service, remember preferences, measure audiences or serve advertising. Technologies such as browser local storage can perform similar functions.
2. Current use on alphaleaders.ro
The website uses a functional cookie only after you press “Understood” in the information bar. It remembers that you closed the notice so it is not shown on every page. Its value is static (v1), contains no identifier and is not used for tracking.
The language cookie remembers the language you selected. The website code does not store data in localStorage or sessionStorage and includes no analytics, advertising or social modules that track visitors.
3. Technical infrastructure
The website is delivered through Cloudflare. Depending on active security features and traffic characteristics, Cloudflare may use cookies strictly necessary to protect and provide the service. The Association does not use them for advertising. Their list and purposes are described in the official Cloudflare documentation .
4. Consent
The website bar is informational and does not request consent for analytics or marketing because such cookies are not used. Its functional cookie is created only when you dismiss the notice; the language cookie records your explicit selection.
Non-essential cookies may be enabled only after clear information is supplied and, where legally required, consent is obtained. If we later introduce analytics, personalisation, embedded content or advertising using such technologies, we will update this policy and implement a choice mechanism before activation.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies in their settings. If you delete the functional cookies described above, the information bar may reappear and the language preference may be forgotten. Blocking them does not restrict access to the website’s content.
